they are the best banjos made today. have you ever seen one for sale? you
may never.... everytime i play someone asks me what kind of banjo that is
and comments on how good it sounds..

Kevin still makes great banjos!

I bought one of Kevin's fretless Tradesman banjos from Elderly a year or so ago. It came with Nylgut G strings on it, and I bought a set of A strings since the G's didn't seem to want to be tuned up.

Somewhere back in the 1990s, Kevin showed me his prototype of the Tradesman, which he thought he could sell for about $500. It costs quite a bit more than that, but it is a great banjo.
